You may be receiving the same alert again for a number of reasons:

  • The threat was not successfully removed the first time.
  • You cleaned the threat last time but have been reinfected.
  • All of the computers in your home network were not cleaned.
  • You reset the alert without completing all of the instructions.
  • The tools recommended for cleanup were not successful.

If any of these apply to you then follow the instructions for removing the threat again. If you have followed the steps multiple times and you are receiving still receiving the alert, then the tools recommended in the instructions may not be able to clean up the threat.
